In popular international domain zone. ORG begin work Cyrillic domain names (IDN). Innovation has announced the administrator domain zone - the company Public Interest Registry (PIR).
IDN Domain Registration will take place from February 19 to March 21, 2011. During this period, anyone can register a Cyrillic domain name of interest. For all registered IDN domains, domain zone administration will set the lock status: Server Hold, Server Update Prohibited, Server Renew Prohibited, Server Transfer Prohibited and Server Delete Prohibited. These statuses will be active until April 20, 2010, if the registered domain name will not start domain dispute (UDRP) - a domain name will be transferred to the active state, and the lock status revoked. To registration will be available the names containing characters Ukrainian, Russian, Belarusian, Bulgarian, Macedonian and Serbian alphabets. IDN domain registration will be held on the principle of first come - first served basis. |
