Update to SSL certificate issuance rules from March 2026

We inform you about changes in the procedure for issuing SSL certificates, which came into effect in March 2026.

From now on, certification centers have reduced the maximum validity period of one SSL certificate from 365 to 200 days. At the same time, certificates are still sold with a validity period of 365 days.

In this regard, the procedure for obtaining and using certificates is changing:

How it works now:After placing an order, the client receives an SSL certificate with a validity period of 199 days, installs it on the server and uses it in the usual mode.

15 days before the expiration of the current certificate, you must independently initiate the issuance of a new certificate for a period of 165 days:

the same CSR is used;
the same confirmation method is used.

Depending on the selected confirmation method:

if email confirmation is used, the new certificate will be sent to the corresponding email address;
if another method is selected, the certificate will need to be downloaded to your personal account on our website and reinstalled on the server.

Please note that timely reissuance and reinstallation of the certificate is a prerequisite for the continuous operation of the secure connection.

We recommend planning these actions in advance to avoid possible interruptions in the operation of services.
