October 19, 2010 Registration starts IDN - Cyrillic domains in com.ua and kiev.ua. Earlier it was reported that the company Hostmaster, together with the initiative group of partners, is developing a procedure for delegating IDN domains in com.ua and kiev.ua in order to minimize the maximum number of cases of cybersquatting and protect the legitimate rights and interests of end users.
The procedure for entering IDN domain names will be held in three stages. At all stages of the verification of the claimed for domain name registration for compliance with the registration requirements of IDN domains , designed according to international standards and to prevent such negative phenomena as phishing. UA and will run from the beginning of registration of IDN to 19 November 2010. second phase . From 19 November to 19 December 2010, IDN delegated registrants who wish to register IDN for a period of 10 years. At this stage, priority registration are the conditions and requirements of delegation of domain names for existing domains. Com.ua and. Kiev.ua respectively. third stage will be free registration IDN. Registration will be available to everyone, and will not differ from the domain registration. Com.ua and. kiev.ua respectively.
